FOWLERVILLE, Mich. — The catalog for the 2026 Winner’s Circle Speed Sale is now available online, and paper copies have been mailed to those who requested them.
The sale, which will take place Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Michigan State University Sales Pavilion, in East Lansing, Mich., will feature a main roster of 64 yearlings. Supplemental entries will be finalized in the coming days.
Among those listed to sell are:
- Captain Phil (hip 36, Captain Victorious-Americanascanbe), a Michigan- and Kentucky-eligible colt whose family includes Nasty As Can Be, who produced four $200,000 earners;
- Celisus (hip 31, Muscles For Life-Sister Maggie), a full sister to 2026 Michigan Sire Stakes 2-year-old male trotting champion Life Blue Bayou;
- Chip Of The North (hip 62, Bourbon Chip-Bell Of The South), a full brother to 2025 Michigan Sire Stakes 3-year-old male trotting champion Chip Of The North who comes from the same family as 2025 Dan Patch Award winner Setyoursightshigh;
- Coolness (hip 30, Perfect Sting-Cool Kate), a filly from the same family as world champion Current Hanover eligible to programs in Michigan, Kentucky and New Jersey; and
- Mackinaw Mac (hip 44, Musclesprinctonian-Stickum Vicky), a full brother to 2024 Michigan Sire Stakes 2-year-old female trotting champ Libbys Lucky Lady.
On Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 5-7 p.m., yearlings will be available at the pavilion for prospective buyers to inspect. Light refreshments will be available.
